How do we want to be funded? 

Money does legitimately represent the vested interests of people and society. You can “vote” with your money, and your power, and your choices. 

The problem is, money is hardly a perfect representation of “people power”, which government is supposed to represent. Business makes money through the free choices of people, but often, not so much.
 

How much does it help a party to have money? 

Is it really necessary to restrict how our party funds it's objectives, if we, ourselves, are immovable on the truth, and the issues we intend to represent on that basis?   
 

If money represents the legitimate interests of a person or group? And, as long as there is no expectation in return for that money?
 

Can money, itself, really be used as a compelling argument for attention and priority, over another issue? Can power? 

When we know that money is not an accurate representation of an individual's stake, and claim, for being represented in society?
 

If an absence of money is a problem, and an obstacle, does it create a conflict of interest, knowing that how you direct your actions, will result in a lack of funding from whomever? If you would otherwise accept that funding?
 

I think for now it would be a good idea to restrict donations for our party, to up to $1000 per individual, per year. Because, the answer to the above questions is: "it's not great to accept money when it represents power, more than it does people". 

The Ease Party will accept donations from organisations of up to $10,000 per year.
 

I also think that our candidates, if elected to parliament, should help fund the party with 5% of their parliamentary salary going toward the party objectives. This can be used to help fund projects that they themselves are passionate about as an Ease Party member.
