Heather Leeves

I am a person who wants to live my life, do amazing things, have fun, help others, and succeed.

I am an artist and small business owner, and have decided to enter politics after having my life devastated by the corrupt actions of IRD, who have spent years destroying me financially, and devastating my business. All in the name of systematic bureaucracy, money, and their own self interest.

The amount of rage I have for this is immeasurable. Can I say that? I do not hate the people involved, I hate the behaviour.

I am their collateral damage. It is a wrong that will never be right, that they have no answer for.

It is not about them. Neither, really, is the politics, except that it's an election year, "the issues" are making themselves known, and I have some understanding of the destruction of what they are doing, and perhaps, where that is going.

I am deeply passionate about improving the lives of New Zealanders, and the state of things in our society.

What do I need? And how can you help?

I could use some money and support. I have been financially stripped of options that I can do fast enough, as a result of extreme, unapologetic abuse, that is normalised by people who don't want to recognise the real harm that they do.

I hate how needing money is stigmatised. Often, it's by the very people who would do more than you to get it. I think this might be the point. As there is less and less to go around, more and more people may be inclined to take advantage, and hide their vulnerability in that regard as a projection onto others. It's a downward spiral.

I am treading water, and bending over backwards, to find good ways to make money that is in the spirit of hard work, dignity, and the shared interests of prosperity.

I want my business. I want my life. I want justice and fairness for me, and those suffering under the same selfishness, carelessness, tyranny, or oppression.

Some people, just, really, don't want to get it. We have a right to live our lives without this nonsense and predation.

I am currently finishing my book. If you would like to pre-order a signed first edition copy for $50 you can contact me through the website, or via email. Later editions will be RRP$35, also available to pre-order now. The Kickstarter edition is also available on Kickstarter for delivery in December for $35 + $5 postage.

I am also going to do a limited edition, handmade "art" edition of the book. These will be made exclusively by offer only, similar to a silent auction. If you would like to make me an offer for a limited edition art piece, contact me asap as there are obviously only a small number of these, and the price will influence the output.

There is also a Kickstarter only "art edition" which is at a set price of $500.
